The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has issued a new round of invitations for provincial immigration this week.
On June 3, 2025, Alberta conducted a draw targeting candidates with job offers from Alberta-based employers in the health care sector. A total of 36 invitations were issued through the Dedicated Health Care Pathway aligned with Express Entry, marking the sixth draw of its kind in 2025.

To be eligible, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 60.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered under this pathway, candidates must:
- Have a job offer in one of nine eligible health care professions;
- Provide proof of eligibility to practice in Alberta, as confirmed by the appropriate regulatory body;
- Meet the requirements of a federal Express Entry program;
- Have an active Express Entry profile with their primary occupation listed as one of the eligible professions;
- Hold a minimum CRS score of 300;
- Demonstrate an intent to live and work in Alberta.

Nomination Allocation and Current Status
In 2025, Alberta was allocated 4,875 provincial nomination spaces. So far, 2,276 nominations have been issued across various AAIP streams.
The province publishes up-to-date data on its official website, including:
- Total nominations to be issued;
- Nominations already issued;
- Remaining nomination spaces;
- Number of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) in the selection pool.
